Here’s another son of the “Light Birthweight Expert” Pete 203Y. 53E is a stout boy, traditionally marked, thick, attractive, deep-bodied, well-muscled, with a wide top.  He performed well while trimming the feed bill (RFI 104).  Ultrasound measured REA 1.08 /100 lbs, & indexed 105 MARB (.15 EPD).  53E was his dam’s 1st calf. 84C has a nice udder, & her own legacy of volume, performance, & maternal strength. Yes, born a scant 74 lbs & backed by a great 13.1 Calving Ease EPD, (& BW 0.0, MCE 7.0, MPI 157.9), we certainly recommend 53E for heifers.
